Red Mountain

Located on a hillside overlooking the town of Nyaungshwe and the lake, Red Mountain Estate is the only vineyard in Myanmar that produces its wine 100% locally from harvesting to bottling. Over 400,000 vines from France and Spain have been specially selected to ensure the wine is created using only the finest of grapes. The wines are made in the tradition of western wines with new technologies and modern equipments, cultivated with love by the people of Myanmar. Red Mountain aims to rebrand itself from all aspects by elevating its brand identity, the quality of wine and also the overall vineyard experience to put Myanmar vineyard on the map not only in Asia, but also globally.

The rebranding is focused on the idea of ‘community’ around the vineyard. The logomark is an abstract illustration of the workers in their typical outfits, comprising of the straw hat, basket and sling Shan bag. The icon is meant to be charming, unpretentious, easily recognisable and most importantly uniquely Myanmar.
