Yangon Zoo

Yangon Zoological Gardens was established in 1901. The zoo today is one of the center attraction in the city of Yangon for both local and international tourists. Covering an area of 58.16 acres in downtown Yangon and next to the Great Shwedagon Pagoda, the zoo with it's collection of nearly 200 species of animals and big shady trees draws nearly 1.5 million visitors annually.

We aim to refresh the identity of Yangon Zoo and redefine the overall experience. Yangon Zoo customer base is largely local, primarily families and children. With the new fun, vibrant and fresh rebrand, we aim to appeal to more international audience such as expats and tourists. Using typography, bright colors and organic shapes, we want to create a sense of wonder and adventure.
